As of July 1, 2020 the City of Charles Town Police Department is enforcing a new parking initiative that was approved by the Charles Town City Council and enacted on April 3, 2020.

Introducing ParkMobile




Parking downtown Charles Town is now easier than ever.

1. Download the ParkMobile App at the Google Play Store or Apple App Store
2. Sign up with your email, license plate number, and a payment method.
3. Once you are registered, you can start using ParkMobile!

Parking PermitsParking permits are available for purchase at Charles Town City Hall and are valid from July 1, 2021 to June 30, 2022. Please know your license plate number upon arriving to City Hall to purchase your permit. The cost is $180.

Residential Parking Permits for those residing in the city within the parking district may purchase 1 parking permit at $90. Any additional permit will cost $180.

Parking and residential permits are valid at 8 hours meters and in the City Operated parking lots. All parking and residential permit holders must comply with the 2 Hour Free parking time limits and are not valid at 2 hour parking meter spaces.
